After all the boring fights Taylor has recently had, I forgot why Taylor use to be one of my favorite figthers. He use to be one of the most entertaining aswell. Is Pavlik taking this fight too early in his career? Even though Pavlik has fought some tough opponents, I still think Taylors resume is far superior compared to Pavliks.

This one has FOTY potential...great matchup. They're both top level middleweights.

Taylors resume is FAR better then Pavliks. And taylor was a great prospect. I still think Pavlik beats him.

Interesting video... but what about it reminded you why Taylor used to be one of your favorite fighters? They showed maybe 20 seconds worth of his past fights, none offering a knockout or even knockdown.

To be honest, I don't remember the last exciting fight Taylor's had - Bunema, maybe? A shot junior middleweight at that. His stoppage of Edouard (his former chief sparring partner) was alright as well, though I remember the rest of the brief bout being fairly sloppy and uneventful.

Taylor can be a slugger and a boxer.

taylor used to be good, but recently it seems like he just doesnt want to fight anymore, like is scared to get hit by ****ing cory spinks or winky wright, they are not power hitters.

anyway, i think pavlik beats him but i can see this one being a great great fight if both guys show up, and by both i mean i hop taylor shows up cuz i know pavlik is comin to ****!

That vid shows nothing really. And Pavlik will KO Taylor. Sure he's fought better comp. But it really doesn't matter in any of those fights Jermaine has failed to get his hands up and stop being so easy of a target.

Both of them are training harder then ever right now. Theres not going to be a day that passes that they won't think of their upcoming fight between each other. Both men have something to gain if they win and have everything to lose if they lose. In boxing your first loss can destroy a career

Pavlik beats ONE guy and suddenly he's considered a top fighter. Taylor will kick his ass for 12 rounds.
