Don't be offended by the dork's question. Be offended by his lame attempt at humor, & his lack of anything decent to offer.

Marvin Halger was a complete badass, even if he was gay. Which I am not saying that he is but if he was ****sexual it would change nothing in my eyes.

Boxing has been near-dead in Britain for a long time. Compared to the heydey of Bruno, Benn and Eubank, it's sad.

If you saw Hagler during the ESPN Friday Night Fights, you saw most of his highlights with a little icon in the bottom right that said "ABC Sports". This guy was having his fights on national TV in front of a national audience.

Why cant we go back to those days?

Hagler is one of the toughest boxers in history, a real man, a ****in soldier. It's guys like him that are no longer in boxing today. He almost died for the sport, for the respect, for the admiration, and for the legacy. Then you got immature pieces of **** like you crackin corny jokes that wouldn't be good in elementary school and disrespecting a legend.

Hagler is from the hood, he trained in Marciano's town, with all Italians, he rolled with gangsters, did what he wanted to do, beat the crap out of whoever he felt like. He moved to Italia for acting, and because he loved the culture. He has a beautiful wife and 5 kids, and if ANYBODY in boxing history WASN'T gay, it would be Marvelous Marvin Hagler. Sorry you can't trust yourself around men and adjectives like marvelous and project your own insecurities on legends like Hagler that to this day would beat you senseless you ****in fruitcake.
Kid I love Hagler and me is far from gay. Met him when I was 7 and my 1st trainer used to spar him religously. I'm just making fun...fack off. Grow a sense of humor.

Brockton is not full of Italians idiot...its all blacks. Whos now?

Do we know if Hagler is married? If he was gay it would be a terrible blow to the boxing community.
You are beyond being an idiot!!! More like a complete ASSCLOWN! Hagler was married with children. The reference to silky pajamas was about training in comfort you dumb****! Before you post ignorant **** you should pay attention to what was said.

Hagler was a great boxer-puncher who could brawl too. I have a lot of respect for him even though I'm not the biggest fan of him.

And it's funny how people take jokes so seriously.

Geez, someone making jokes on the internet is not that big of a deal.

I know...wtf...like Robert Plant said live one night: does anyone remember laughter?

95% of these kids were prolly born after Hagler retired and never saw a live fight. I grew up watching him and met him for chrissakes.

I'm from the same area and if he read what I wrote he'd have a laugh. Thats how we joke around here and Marvin knows it. Like its the 1st time he got **** for training in gay-town.

My family and I visited his camp once back then...one of my proudest posessions is a photo of Marvin holding my then 6 year old daughter.
Theres plenty of places he could have trained for free!!! He was a superstar here then. How much more desolate is Marthas Vineyard? Island...

I met him in 81' in New Bedford. Huge fan...huge. Just playin guys...git a grip.
