I think so. I give toney all the credit for not being like every other boxer and taking the money and losing the belt just to fight for a big payday. He took on the mandatory and the guy that had been calling him out for years instead of chasing money in a cotto fight. If margarito would have started even just 1 or 2 rounds earlier he would have clearly won that fight maybe even by tko wiliams was the only fighter feeling the effects of being in a fight. Either way i think toney and cotto should still go down i think it would be a great fight between two guys that love to come forward. I think toney would take this one i hate that people are trying to discredit margarito now. I said that williams fight would be tougher then a cotto fight. Williams would give any fighter trouble i dont see cotto beating him either especially with those short arms and no chin. Im sure alot of those punches landed on margarito would have wobbled cotto, and by what i have seen maybe even dropped cotto. Margarito is being robbed of respect and credit for this fight. He is a great fighter and has a chance to win againts anybody in the ring. If he gets this fight with cotto wich is still in the talks i think margarito will show everyone how good he really is.
Should margarito vs cotto still happen?

Is it fair to put Cotto or any other Welter-weight against Paul Williams(he has longer reach the vitali and wlad klitscko for christ sakes, and paul's a freaking welter-weight). Though paul williams is weak and maybe thats his disadvantage. But I can't see any welter-weight getting passed his long reach.Last edited by EliteSoldier; 07-24-2007, 11:44 PM.Comment

exactly other then the weight its like fighting a freaking heavyweight with speed and movement. Thats why i hate people are trying to discredit margarito for losing this fight. Margarito gave williams all he could handle and would have walked out of there a champ still if he had just one the last round. If he would have started a round or two earlier we wouldnt be having this discussion and we would be talking about cotto vs toneyComment

Fair or not hes there for people to fight, I think hed be a great opponent for Hatton,Mayweather or Cotto. Theyd have to find a way past his long reach. Is it fair to put Cotto or any other Welter-weight against Paul Williams(he has longer reach the vitali and wlad klitscko for christ sakes, and paul's a freaking welter-weight).
