I just Heard something REALLY cool...

HBO ON DEMAND has a documentary up right now about ALI-FRAZIER I

And in the video one of the guys they interviewed said that after Frazier won gold in the olympics, he had a few professional fights and was asked if he would like to fight ALI, then cassius Clay!

Thats crazy. Frazier only had a few fights and said "lets slow down" lol. But what if had said yes and they fought.

How would everything had changed? Maybe Frazier gets stopped cause hes so young, and when the finally get it on years later, theres a whole new twist to there first (would be second) fight.

The 3 yrs out of action for Ali and the distractions caused by his out of the ring life was very detrimental to the overall career of Ali as a fighter , his was in his prime as a fighter when he wasnt allowed to fight and it robbed him off total heavyweight dominance , prime Ali = the greatest heavyweight so far in the sport .

      I watched it yesterday.

It's a good piece, but too much hype and not enough fight for me.

        The hypes the best part!

I thought it was an amazing chunk of history squeezed into an hour.

The hype is fascinating - but when you're already familiar with it all; you end up with 90% hype and 10% fight.
