He didn't knock judah out with a body shot. Matter of fact, he didn't even knock judah out period.

Cotto is perhaps the most overrated specialist in Boxing.

Like I've said before - if you hit a guy in the kidneys and ribs 500 times over the course of a fight it's going to do damage.

Miguel throws to the body every damn time. Ain't nothing special about it.

your undermining the fact. its takes great skill to do so at the rate and accuracy which cotto does. he always brings power to those shots and is able to keep bombing them all the way till the 12th round. he has excellent stamina. hes world class. nevertheless, i still take Mosely over him. Mosely has great speed, has fought in higher weight classes against bigger guys, so his power is there. Hes my pick.

as long as i get a good fight , im happy.

              Not undermining.

Just trying to bring some of the overblown hype back under control.

Cotto takes some "world class" shots to the chin trying to work the body all the ****ing time. He leaves himself WIDE open. We can call it "world class" or we can also establish a reasonable su****ion that the body punching is all Miguel Cotto is anything very good at..

I don't know about this "accuracy" you speak of.

If he's trying to hit guys in the lower back and testicles as often as he does - then yes, I'd say he's pretty ****ing "accurate."

Thats what his opponents start to think, then he hurts them with his left uppercut. That happened late in the Judah and Urkal fight. His jab was definitely his most effective punch in the Judah fight I think.

***waits for you to say the low blows were***

I do agree that he leaves himself open. Every time he gets hurt its when he's throwing a punch, not when he's on the defensive. That just goes with the style I guess.

Cotto slower than the Vargas that fought Mosley? Are you serious? Why do people always say Cotto is slow? Hes really not. Vargas showed about 0 intensity in the second fight too, Cotto brings 100% intensity to every fight. Maybe not quite as powerful, but much more active. He will throw a lot more and land a lot more. Vargas has been KOd a bunch of times, Cotto has never been KOd, so the chin thing remains to be seen. If Vargas gave Mosley trouble in their frst fight, and he did, then I think Cotto could do a loooot better. But who cares about the Vargas-Mosley fight, that means nothing. We are talking about Cotto-Mosley.

Alright, well he's certainly not just hitting guys in the body.

I will say that if these other punches are really anything to speak of - they might be a little more memorable.

I've never seen a more ignorant poster. I'm starting to see why most of the better posters don't even bother with this place.
