          R.I.P. Sugar Shane!!!

Cotto last 3 fights were against 3 fleet-footed boxers with quick hands (malignaggi, quintana, judah) 2 being southpaw & he did a wonderful job of cutting off the ring & setting up his attack behind the jab. After watching the chop-chop & torress fights i said to myself Cotto could never make it as an elite fighter b/c he gets hit a lil' to much, but seing as he shakes it off everytime & comes back more aggressive basically beating his opponents into submission. Every single fight it seems like after they feel Cotto's power and/or once they realize they can't hurt him they get into a defensive shell, basically back- pedeling flicking jabs trying to get away. Let's be real for a second Shane is a great warrior has good hand-speed & power but that's where it ends. Shane does not & never had good foot movement or head movement. Matter of fact he stands in one spot & just lets off combos! Power Boxing is what they call it Another thing about shane is once his original game plan backfires he get's very discouraged & has no clue what to do (Hince de la hoya II: jab & movement, & the wright & forrest fights). Also shane has that Meldrick Taylor syndrome of having too much heart. When shane is hurt he doesn't resort to defense or clinching he goes swinging for the fences!! I know a lot of people think Cotto is a "robot" or he will get exposed by a real boxer/puncher, but the reality is this guy has great heart, power, stamina, & he can box! Contrary to popular belief he is not slow at all (i would say about average speed I think the weight gain actually did him a favor so he doesn't have to "kill" himself to make weight). Now i'm no cotto-hugger or shane-hater i'm just stating the facts. I know Shane's never been Ko'd & never ducked anyone but look for mosley to start of real fast throwing combos & maybe even scoring a knockdown, but around that 5 or 6th round when Shane is huffing & puffing Cotto is going to wear that body down then for the first time in Mosley's career he will be down for the count or he will quit in his corner!! If not cotto will win a decision (which is more impressive imo) I'm standing on it!!! p.s. besides Williams (for obvious physical reasons) Cotto has the best chance of dethroning Floyd!!!

Um... yup, that pretty much sums it up.

I picked Cotto for all the reasons stated, but I do think Mosley could come through with a win too. He is a smart veteran, so I could see him outboxing Cotto and picking up the win. This one is almost too close to call.

You said it brother! "when Mosley starts huffing and puffing..." people have no idea when they say Cotto is "slow". That slowness that people say, is called timing. Miguel Cotto is an expert in timing breathing patterns. He catches them on the "INHALE".....BAM! Watch Zab Judah, Torres, Sosa, showing thier mouth piece (a sure sign thier beathing through thier mouth) and see how Cotto tags 'em right as they're breathing in. Shane Mosely's one of my favorite fighters. Gotta go with Cotto on this one.

This is a must see fight, it throws the winner into the ring wit PBF (love him or hate him, he the one to beat) & throws the loser back down the ladder to cats like Margarito, Judah, or at least get shots against Cintron & Williams. I like Shane in this one though, although he has problems wit taller fighters wit the stiff jab & put the pressure on him (see Vernon Forrest). Cotto still seems suspect to me, he's good but he still doesn't look like he's figured out how to put everything he has together & make it look like he flows naturally. Can ya'll Dig It?!?
