Mosley vs. Cotto appears to be on.


Who wins?

In my opinion this is going to be a very close fight (even if it ends in TKO/KO).

Why?

Each fighter has more than enough power to hurt the other one.

The fight will most likely end with whoever can get the better shots or the hardest shots.

It could honestly go either way.

It's hard for me to clearly decide a winner.

Its HIGHLY unlikely this will go to the scorecards.

i like both fighters and logically it would be better for the division for cotto to win (he's the younger fighter who is arguably heading into his prime and has the best chance to climb to the top of the divison over mayweather)

i say this because even though mosley is the better boxer and counterpuncher you have to admit he is heading out of his prime and a mosley/mayweather fight wouldnt be as good today as it would have been 3 years ago.

cotto has everything to gain from this fight and mosley has everything to lose.

if cotto wins he could send mosley towards retirement and if mosley wins it doesnt really hurt cotto's image due to the fact mosley is one of the best of this generation (not some bum).

im going with shane cause his my fav boxer by the way. well speed and the 4 punch combinations will be the key to victory. cotto looks ready for this thus makin this fight a real treat.

Good post, I agree. It would certainly be better for the division if Cotto was able to prevail - but Miguel should still be a player at 147 regardless of the outcome. There are plenty of matchups even for fighters coming off of losses.

You can't go off of that cause collazo was a a good southpaw which can give any fighter problems.

But will he able to maintain that pressure given the fact he is very hittable and mosely will definitely captialize on that.
