First, you kids don't know anything about who turned down what offers. If you have any sense you'll rid yourselves of the convenient rumors you treat as truth. When a fight doesn't get made, the fans never know the truth.
Second, he probably has mixed feelings about it, as a man usually does when he considers a fight he stands a good chance of losing.
****** question, of course he wants to fight Mayweather, who wouldn't, he's p4p #1 in the world.. Hatton knows if he fights Mayweather he'll have a good paycheck for that night and if he wins, which I doubt, he automatically has a place in boxing history IMO..

Even if we dont know the complete truth, the evidence and quotes kind of put it all together, even if you look at it objectively, hatton and his team clearly did not want him in the ring with mayweather jr before now.
Im not a Hatton fan and think Floyd wins in a showcase , but lets get real here Ricky is a fighter and fighters fight , in Hattons world Floyd represents his biggest challenge so of course he wants it , he is at his peak and the times right to test himself with the best , he would be nervous and at the same time excited , fear dont come into it with these guys , people that have never boxed relate it to there own schoolyard fights and streetfights where they were ****ting themselves , this is a learned trade and fighters of this level dont fear other fighters , when fights dont happen its generally management that stops it and yes management do fear other fighters .

So you don't believe Mayweather ducked Margarito, right?
hatton is acting like a coward. he needs to be a man and fight mayweather. sign the contract. i think hatton would give mayweather the hardest fight of his life.

They've said for some time the fight would be after Hatton's three-fight contract.
It's all or nothing. He really doesn't have that much to lose..
He can be a legend, or he can be a great British champion.
It's up to him.
whether haten really wants it or not, this is the fight everybody wants to see. haten might lose, but at least he'll know if he could beat pbf or not. if i were ricky, i'd want to find out if had what it takes to beat pbf, even if there was a better than average chance i'd lose
