    "Interesting" Misprint...

On Saturday, Seeno Group will be promoting a fight in West Palm Beach, FL, the main event to include Francisco Figueroa in a 12 round title bout with Ubaldo Hernandez.

The flyer here states Hernandez's record as being 22-7-2 (10 KO). However, if you check Boxrec.com, Hernandez's record is indeed 22-17-2 (10 KO). They understated his loss column by 10.

promoters do that **** all of the time.

The Charley Foundation hosts a "smoker" event down here, which is basically a bunch of rich drunk ****s smoking cigars, drinking brandy and watching a fight card usually comprising of 3-4 fights. Every year, they announce the "opponents" as having winning records, when in fact their records are the exact opposite. The loser of this year's main event was announced as 9-4 when in fact he is 4-9.

Another trick is when they get a Marteze Logan type, instead of announcing him as 25-27 or whatever he is, they'll say he's "a veteran of over 50 fights, having fought Paul Williams, Mike Arnaoutis, Americo Santos..." etc.

If promoters know they can pull a fast one, they damn sure will.

At the last fight promoted by this particular group, there was no bout sheet. That always raises eyebrows for me.

Smokers aren't real fights to me. They're just events, no real competition going on there.

Definitely one of the most exciting up and comers in the sport. He reminds me of Shane Mosley in a lot of ways.
