So, was his early pro competition carefully selected? I wonder if he fought any guys early on in his pro career, that had over 150-300 amateur fights?

I think he did have amatuer fights... i remember seeing vids of him at like 5 or 6 years old, fighting competitively
But anways, whos early career ISN'T carefully selected?
Only guys i can think of recently off the top of my head, is rafael Marquez whos first fight was against a former world champion. And Evander Holyfield who was fighting top cruiserweights at like his 10th fight or somthing crazy like that. Quawi was his 12th fight as a pro

Hatton had a GLITTERING amateur career, winning every single national title there was and out-pointing all the best Russians, Cubans and Bulgarians in their backyards in the juniors!
