How about Mayorga vs. Margarito? That would be a great fight both guys love to slug. It would definitely be action packed. I'm not sure if Marg could take him down. Becuase Mayorga took some of Tito's best shots and smiled.

Mayorga in the welterweight division could be a problem. If.... he trained harder, stopped smoking, stayed out of trouble, worked on ATLEAST a decent jab, and fought the right opponents. But.. we'll see if he tries some of those things and makes a little noise. He stands a decent chance.

i def. agree if he would be 100% into boxing he would be a serious threat regardless of his boxing abilities just relying on is power

how can anyone say this like its a fact, he has 24 KO's in his 34 wins and Oscar has 30 KO's in his 38 wins, yes the ratio is close, but considering Margarito hasnt fought anyone ill take Oscar's power anyday. Mayorga would walk through Margarito's punches easier than Williams did, get realistic.

Mayorga is not a good fighter anymore and is destroyed from drugs. After he fights Vargas (good fight IMO) he should retire. He will NOT look good against any top fighter in any division.
