    Hopkins vs Pavlik

I'll add another post to the poll day.

Who wins in a fight at 170 with Hopkins vs Pavlik?

Hopkins with his tricky skill could make Pavlik miss and pay with dirty tactics. We haven't seen Pavlik pressured with holding and hitting the way Hopkins does. This could be a very bad day for Pavlik being so inexperienced.

Or could Pavlik keep his jabbing distance and make Hopkins slow down with his thudding body shots on that 42 year old body. Could Hopkins's age finally show up? Pavlik may smash Hopkins's face and actually KO, TKO, or decision him.

This will be a good poll to do again after the Taylor fight IF Pavlik wins.

    Hopkins, with out question.

****, Taylor will likely beat Pavlik too.

Hopkins has never been KO'd, ever, so that's not likely going to happen, even at 42/43. The best chance for Pavlik is to out-work Benard and win the majority of rounds, which I just don't think he has the skills to do. Hopkins is too smart, he'll find a way to win.

    Hopkins by UD.

BTW, I like Pavlik, and I hope he kicks Taylors ass, unfortunately I just don't see it happening. Taylor is too athletic and skilled for Pavlik, imo.

A guy like Pavlik makes too many amateurish mistakes to beat Hopkins, I think it will be an easy fight for Bitchnard.

I think Pavlik is a little more skilled then Lacy or Miranda but that's not saying much.

I think Hopkins is too old, before the wright fight I thought Hopkins was fighting like he was in his youth again... But I guess some fighters do age over night and he's one of them... He looked so sluggish in the hopkins/wright fight... He has shown his age.

Taylor made plenty of amateurish mistakes against Hopkins and still managed a W. With that said i still pick Hopkins all day. Pavlik isnt on that level yet.

btw Taylor will be Pavlik too.

hopkins by ud, too much experience. it would be the classic case of a boxer fighting a fighter, and the boxer would get beaten up the overall tactics of strategy..............

i like pavlik though, i think he is quality and going to be champ some day and a good champ at that............

but as of right now, against hopkins, bhop has too many tricks up his sleeves.

Pavlik: my wishful thinking. Realistically I'm not sure he has the experience to handle a cagy guy like Hopkins.....

I'd pick Hopkins, unless he REALLY declined overnight. Otherwise, UD for Hopkins.

I want to see him fight Taylor first... Hopkins is a huge step up in class for Pavlik. Haven't made up my mind if Kelly is legit yet...
