jus wanted to express my thoughts on jesse brinkley. i jus watched the contender UK vs. USA i didnt see it when it was on a few months back and i didnt know who won what, i jus saw brinkley fight robin reid, who i think is alot better than brinkley, and reid won a UD and then came the post fight interview with brinkley in the locker room. i wont go into specific quotes, but he basically said robin reid was not as good as him and he really won and his reason was that reid looked tired and wouldnt let jesse fight his fight cuz he was throwin him off his rhythm, and that these kind of fighters shouldnt get big fights. i heard that and was shocked an appauled at that.

he said pretty much he think reid is a bad fighter because reid wouldnt let brinkley fight his fight and he lost cuz of it. ARE YOU ****ING SERIOUS?!?!? and after he lost he wouldnt shake hands with reid and walked out of the ring. what a sore ****ing loser i hope he doesnt get big fights he doesnt derseve them....

im sure hes a cool guy outside the ring, but he talks mad ***** when he CLEARLY loses fights.

since when is fighting Jesse Brinkley considered "a big fight?"

i never liked Brinkley, even on The Contender. In fact, he was a big part of why I didn't like the first season - he (and others) made the show far more "Real World" than a boxing reality show.

anyway, **** him and shame on any columnist who dedicates even a sentence worth of ink on his name.

oddly enough, I've always been a Robin Reid fan. The only time I didn't root for him was when he fought Jeff Lacy.
