I've been a Wright fan for a long time (and apparently one of the few), but I have to disagree with your assessment. Wright seems to do just enough to wind up in a situation where he gets to ***** about things not going his way. His problem is that he's too much of an idealist - I know, because I'm the same way at my job! LOL... but my point is that he expects everything to be one way, and for everyone to see things through his eyes. He's been on the short end enough to know that such is not the case, yet he refuses to change up.

I thought the ref should've docked points from Hopkins, not necessarily because bernard was blatantly dirty, but because the ref kept warning... and warning... and warning without ever acting. But it got to a point, and fairly early in the fight, where Wright was looking for help from the ref rather than taking matters into his own hands.

Jake, I agree re: the point deduction. That was absurd. And I might add that if you moved up ten pounds to fight the world lhw champ, took the fight to himf romt he opening bell only to see the kind of score margins we witnessed on Saturday night, I'd be pretty pissed too.

Furthermore, Wright didn't whine at all. In fact, he was very respectful. He said he felt he wont he fight (certainly not something ridiculous in light of those impossible to score rounds) and also added that he thought the fight was very close. He was also very gracious regarding the headbutt. What's people's problem?

haha you know what this is like?

It's like someone falling in love with a mean slut, and then whining when they get their heat broken. Jackasses..........you knew what would happen.

Nard is a dirty mother ****er, he is who he is.

If I lost a fight with Hopkins because I was wore out from all the holding and headbutting, then I don't think I would be saying "oh well... I lost and Hopkins did a good job headbutting me. I didn't do enough to dodge his skull since I should have expected it.".

Wright has a RIGHT to ***** about dirty tactics, just as every single other person that Hops has fought.

And yes, he does have the personality to complain after his close fights...

Exactly. All week Winky was saying Nard was dirty and all, trying to get him to fight clean. Well, it didn't work, and you lost.

If Winky didn't think he could beat a dirty Nard, then why even fight? Oh wait, Winkster does it for the money.

When has he ever been screwed by the judges? He didn't beat Taylor and he didn't beat Vargas. Those were close fights that could have gone either way, but I didn't score either for Winky.

you need to watch some more boxing man, winky won 9 rounds and at least 7 clear as ****...
