why are we even discussing this thread? i mean besides the fact that mayweather would kill pacman let's be reasonable here. pac is at 130 pounds. mayweather jus fought at 154 pounds. skillwise, mayweather is much better. speedwise, they are both fastbut mayweather throws the better punches and they don't look sloppy. stamina wise, they are both good. power wise, pac could not hurt floyd. if they both fought at 126 or 130, floyd jr kills pac because at this weight, floyd was much faster and was knocking people out left and right, and he beat a harder puncher in corrales also. could pac beat corrales at 130 pounds? i don't think so. i believe floyd was the greatest 130 pound fighter in history and this is from a natural skill level and from a polished skill level. mayweather would be too skilled on the defense, too skilled on the offense, much quicker, would tear pac's body up seeing how he was a great bodypuncher. he would counter pac's left hand and this is a mayweather who actually had trouble with southpaws. pac has power and speed but he is not skillful enough for a mayweather at any weight, especially 130. floyd at 130 was a killer, he could knock you out with a left hook which was his go to punch or a right hand lead or a counter left hook or right hand. i mean, he had very fast reflexes and his footwork and body positioning was just near perfection. he knew where to hit you most of the time and could read any fighter he fought, no matter what style. pac would have to pressure nonstop but floyd would figure him out i'm sure, seeing how pac is a brawler and would go all out. floyd would eat him alive.

2 different skill levels, easy victory for mayweather at 126, 130, 135, and at 140, pacman gets knocked out very fast. mayweather at 140 brought power with him and pacman would have gotten crushed against him. floyd's mindset is what sets him apart from any fighter.

high KO percentage??? compare those from PAC's KOs...ha...ha...ha...

PBF is an overrated runner, oops, boxer. You can ask Oscar if he got impressed or the people who watch them last May. PBf will vanish from the boxing world without gaining any respect cause he didn't prove anything besides his evasive style of boxing. While thinking about this, you can open the thread about"who is the most boring fighter to watch", dont be surprised if you find PBF's name on it. Oh yes, if he is not in the 1st, surely he's on 2nd place.

Pacquiao would almost certainly have to jump-up. Just like Floyd was forced to move up in weight...Mayweather is the pound for pound and, this time, I think he'd call the shots. Probably 140 - at least- and I can see Manny agreeing to move up to get the shot.

Talk about a super-fight, this would be a big-mega fight. I feel that Manny had enough rep built up, with a crowd pleasing style, that they could really spin and hype this up to blockbuster proportions.

Fighting a smaller man and moving down in weight would mean Floyd is once again a power-punching threat. Manny has thunder, too, despite if Mayweather is strong enough to take them. The threat of a KO is there- at least at first glance- from both men. People get more into fights when both men are in danger of being hurt. That was never a threat in the De la Hoya fight.

Should be written like this...Floyd was a beast at 135 BEFORE AND IF HE GO DOWN TO 135 TODAY TO FIGHT PAQUIAO, HE WILL GET KOed.
