Offensively, Winky looked terrible down the stretch.

Did you see how he was throwing his punches later on in the fight? He looked almost as if he was trying to club Hopkins with his arms. His punches were wide as hell too.

The way to beat Winky is nullify his straight punches. His hooks and overhands are ****.

well it was an akward fight and wright really couldnt do what he wanted to. Not to mention he was more tired then i have EVER seen him, and was to tired to keep the fight at a distance.

Im a guy who always blames weight if it was clear. Now I didnt see this fight but to me it sounds like Oscar against Sturm and I wish RJ was calling the fight. Obviously Oscar was out of shape in that fight but the new weight certainly bothered him. If you remember, in that fight Oscar came out throwing alot of punches early. RJ then said that Oscar better know what he's doing because it could be a big mistake in that he's at a weight that he's never been at before and he could tire himself out very quickly and have nothing down the stretch. This also sounds like what happened to Winky. He's really not that big of a guy and he probally let his hands go way too much at this new weight. The weight was definatly a factor.

On the other hand Im trying to tell you guys that the weight loss killed RJ and thats why he loss to Tarver and was drained in those fights after that. Im also saying that Hopkins only killed Tarver because the weight loss killed him and he was also a totally different fighter. Weight is a bigger factor then people want to admit. Hopkins wasnt that great against Tarver as Tarver was bad

Hopkins nullified his right jab and made him try to wrestle on the inside. Somewhere in the fight, Winky lost all his juice.

Yeah. Now him and his new found friend Tito can go watch more basketball together and cry in each other's arms about how Hopkins kicked their asses.

Weight was a factor. I don't think Hopkins has the same power or energy at 160 as he does at 175. When he says he has new life at 175, he means it. In Winky's case, he looked weaker and slower, but then again Hopkins was wearing him down too

except trinidad lost nearly every minute of every round against hopkins, and got knocked out.

Where as wright won nearly half the rounds in the fight and made it comptitive...
