Pretty good IMO, but no Hopkins? I know he's getting some hate on here for last night, but he should be toward the top regardless.

It's not possible to rank Paul Williams ahead of Rafael Marquez.

Marquez knocked out two HOF fighters in Austin and Johnson, and has been on a long time win streak moving up in weight. He's a dynamic hard punching little man who retained his knockout power moving up.

The Pound for Pound idea was created to solely encompass all weights below heavyweight, because HW is the supreme weight class. That's why no P4P list has ever included a HW and never will. It's not even open for debate.

What P4P list had Holy on it? I'd need to see that.

Hagler's career is defined the same way...

          Long reign vs decent Middleweights...
Knocking out a blown up welterweight great in Hearns...
Decisioning a blown up lightweight great in Duran...
Losing to a blown up welterweight and semi retired great Leonard...

Hopkins is defined in a similar way...

          Long reign vs decent Middleweights...
Knocking out a blown up welterweight/jr middleweight great in Trinidad...
Knocking out a blown up lightweight/welterweight great in DLH
Decisioning another P4P star and future HOFer jr middleweight/middleweight in Winky Wright
Decisioning the bigger and Undisputed Light Heavyweight Champion in Tarver

I mean hey...ask Hagler..when the BIG big names are one or two weight classes below you...what is a Boxer to do to become a star? Either fight those smaller big names, or move up....

          Hopkins did both...
