Right now its between Pavlik-Miranda,Cotto-Judah and Katsidis-Amonsot
Pavlik vs Miranda was just nonstop, they never stoped swinging until it was over, not once did they stop, and the power between them was amazing
Cotto vs Judah was amazing, the atmosphere, the brutalness, everything about it,crazy back and forth action until Judah couldent take nomore and Cotto took over,it was the birth of a star
Katsidis-Amonsot was brutal,Katsidis is the new Gatti, his face was in a state,Amonsot wasnt letting Katsidis bully him and fought him until the end
Out of these three,Katsidis-Amonsot was the less one-sided so i picked this,i might have picked it because it was on last night but it was a 50/50 war
i think anyone that actually saw that fight
would easily vote for it
Yeah problem is.......too many people haven't watched it.
You know what the funniest **** of all time was? Some guy in a different thread stated "I haven't seen Bell/Mormeck II but I can already tell you I'm not going to like it as much as Pavlik/Miranda"
That guy needs to quit posting forever. I can't believe the level of outright ****ing ignorance on display when it comes to FOTY candidates. If you haven't seen that fight.........you have no ****ing business voting in these polls.

see i don't get where this is a valid claim. If people ***** that they didn't get to watch it, then they lose the right to complain about quality boxing being available on free/regional TV. The fight was on MSG network and carried by just about every FoxSports affiliate. It was there to be seen by anyone with a basic digital cable/satellite package.
Mormeck-Bell II, Marquez-Vazquez I, Sakata-Vasquez II and Katsidis' two fights this year (Earl and last night v. Amonsot). Any of those five are a valid pick - I don't necessarily think any were that far superior to the other, nor do I believe that we've yet seen the 2007 Fight of the Year.
