its like ever since he lost to Roy Jones, he became more cagey and sneaky...I remember reading once that he learned alot from his fight with Roy...and also biting roy's style in a way, u can see it in Hopkins' swagger....and I'm not complaining at all...i luv winners in this game of boxing...and Bernard is one of em'... right now Bernard and Floyd's style will either bore you or show you how its really done the way they know how to...and both happen to be master pugilists in the ring....

your right he did take jones style .. and made it defensive instead of offensive.... he will always inflict more damage on his opponent then his opponent does on him .... even if he looses the fight ...and that to me makes the best fighter .. who does the most damage..id rather beat somebody up and loose then get beat up and win..

hopkins is a fighter that can box.

fighting first, boxing second with bernard. it's what has made him " The Executioner ".

back in the day, old school fighters, guys that hopkins studied and was inspired by fought how he fights. rough and tough, go out and get the win. no finesse, just fighting 101 combined with boxing skills. get tough or lose when you're in the ring with hopkins. or get lucky with the judges (JT).

How can you people say that " oh is doing was he has tpo do to win ". It's disrespectfull too the opponent, so i don't have too respect bernard, a great fighter i must admit but i can say that i losed my respect for him since the scuffle at the weight in, and more since rhe fight

Dude you're crazy. You would have no place in boxing if that was the case.
