How come the one person winky wants, everyone thinks he can beat... Why doesn't he get a rematch with Taylor. Taylors probably going to lose against pavlik. It sets up a perfect rematch between the both of them.Comment

I like Floyd, but I don't think he'd beat either of these guys.
Hopkins just has too many weapons as well as a huge size advantage. With Winky, I don't know how Floyd would nullify his right jab.
We saw how Oscar's occassional jabbing caused Floyd problems in their fight. Put him in there with a jabbing machine like Winky...it'll be a long night for Floyd.Comment

He barely won that fight and in some people's eyes, Mayweather lost. Against Hopkins, Mayweather would face an opponent who is more skilled, experienced, larger, stronger, 'rougher and tougher', than Oscar. Hopkins is also older but he would still have plenty left in the tank for Pretty Boy.Comment

more skilled? hell no. b-hop is a boxing guru. on that note, mayweather has more skills than hopkins and winky. mayweather is a boxer with speed and a ring smarts better than any fighter of the past 15 years including a pernell whitaker. hopkins is a smart fighter who is just bigger than mayweather. he is not more skilled, he is a good defensive fighter but his footwork and upperbody movement has never been on par with mayweather's. hopkins has a great gameplan when he comes to fight, but he doesn't adjust as effectively as a mayweather. hell, even winky adjusts to fighters better than hopkins does imo. winky has a tight defense that is hard to break, but it can be broken and mayweather has the tools to break it. winky is much bigger than floyd but has lest stamina than him and is less smarter than floyd, and this is obvious. of course if they fought he would try to utilize his right jab but floyd's speed would be too much for both hopkins and wright. i've always said floyd could move up in weight and defeat winky and hopkins because of his overall skill. yes, he'd be smaller but he knows how to fight smaller and he knows how to pick his shots right. his defense is better than hopkins and this is a hopkins who has a great d.
people think oscar won because they believe because he pressed the fight and was more active, he won, but what they fail to realize is that the fight was at floyd mayweather's pace and he controlled the tempo. oscar just looked aggressive against a calm and collective mayweather who was once again more accurate than his opponent and adjusted to his opponent well and fought a smarter fight. winky wright gets hit in his arms a hell of lot more than mayweather got hit in his arms(and floyd got hit a lot in his arms from him blocking shots), and winky is a considered one of the best defensive fighters in boxing today. floyd fought oscar in a smart and cool manner. oscar tired out and yes, stopped using his jab that landed on floyd cleanly a lot. but, you think floyd wouldn't have adjusted to it eventually? i think not. he would have adjusted to the jab i'm sure of, unless oscar used it when mayweather was off guard.
winky would have to keep pressure on floyd and walk through his quick counters which he would feel. could he do it? i'm sure but this is only half the battle against boxing's best, floyd mayweather jr. winky would have to sell out to beat floyd as well as take risks, use his power, use as much speed as he could, fight wild because he would not outbox floyd, this we all know.
hopkins would have to dig deep and have a great night like back in his hayday to defeat floyd who i see winning unanimously by decision. he'd have size, power, and strength over floyd, but skillwise, he'd be outboxed, and b-hop is one of the best boxers of his generation. but floyd, has a sheer natural skill that has been unmatched for 15 years, and i've seen them all.Comment

Mayweather has no chance against BHop. There comes a time where size has to play a factor, and Hopkins would beat Mayweather like he was his kid. I think Wink would be able to pressure Mayweather enough and break him down. Again because of the size difference.Comment
