i wanted Larry Merchant for this fight what happened there????

Max Kellerman did ok from 1-10 i score a 6 maybe a 5,
what happened w/Larry did he have the night off? as far as im concerned he reknewed his contract w/HBO.....i really missed Larry specially 2nite on FINAL THOUGHTS/INTERVIEWS

Larry has a contract that limits his output.

Against his wishes I would have to assume.


Larry trashes the fighters and the sport at times.. My theory.

as far as im concerned Larry does not have any health problems yet....
they just let the old guy stick to his job....just like when you have an old security guard that you know that doesn't belong doing it but you'd say

The only thing I didn't like about Merchant was he was long winded.. It takes him forever to make a point. But when he finally did make one it was usually precise and fair.

In my opinion on tonights commentaters Max Kellerman kept repeating whatever Emanuel Stewart was saying.. Like when Stewart would made a point that Michael Katsidis looked like Jeff Finech with more power, Max said the exact same thing 4 rounds later. Max has a long way to go in my opinion to fill Merchants shoes.

I don't like Lampley at all. He was the weakest link in my opinion. If they have to get rid of someone it should be him.. He still can do Wimbleton or whatever..lol.

Though I have a love and hate relationship with Larry. He's a great commentator, but hates the outboxer/defensive type boxer like Hopkins. He has great comments, but sometimes you just wanna be like "SHUT UP LARRY!"

that's what i like about him, i sometimes feel like getting in there and ***** slap him, but when asking the questions he reads em' off my mind,
that i give him props for

Agreed his questions are great. When he was asking Wlad and Gomez questions they were straight and to the point.
