I didn't watch the fight either (no way in hell I'm paying for a fight like that), but I don't think you can drop Winky too far for losing to Nard. Personally, I would just switch them. I had Winky at 2 and Hopkins at 5, now its the other way.

I think both of these guys drop, p4p.

For Hopkins, he had a career junior middle move all the way up to 170 and fought tooth and nail - and it was quite an ugly fight.

For Winky, he fought a 42yr. old fighter who looked slower than he ever has and landed few clean shots.

Man, this was ugly. Certainly doesn't raise anyone's stature. In fact, based on their performances, they drop because I can now think of a few guys who could beat both. I will say this--credit to Winkster for moving up and hanging tough. I thought he lost close and didn't look too hot but he showed plenty of grit, especially when his best weapon (the jab) was completely nullified.

How did X get out your top 10? He has recently beat everyone except Taylor twice but most thought that they were the kind of close fights where you dont drop far, just like you kept Winky at 3 after this loss

NOT much i dont think. Neither guy looked like they won convincingly, even though i think the right guy got the nod.

Wright drops a bit, And Hopkins goes a bit.

You could tell the weight and cut effected wright a lot, so i personally am not gonna hold to much against him. Not to mention the fact that it was a very very very close and evenly contested match, regardless of who won each round

Is it fair for Winky to drop in the rankings if he lost at a weight that he's never fought at before though?

It is fair because Hopkins showed he was the better fighter. P4P, according to this fight, Hopkins beats Wright. (I still think it would have been different without that cut... lots of fighters say cuts make it hard to do what you want).

A rematch NOT on PPV is in order!

You know for a fact that if Floyd lost to Oscar then he wouldve dropped alot and that was Floyd's 5th Divioson. This is basically Winky's 3rd. You could argue its the 4th since its really at LHW but the fight was actually closer to a SMW fight
