They **** off the ropes and Linares even gets the best of that! Great movement around the ring by Linares, hes doing whatever he wants. Linares is firing a lot of 1-2's, but they seem to be completely blocked. Linares's left hooks are landing almost at will though.

Linares pounds to the body and head. Larios wild and looping and landing sparringly.

Katsidis Digs Deep & Wins Big With 4 Bloody, Bad Cuts
Michael Katsidis (now 23-0, 20 KO's) has a tough night with Czar Amonsot that wasn't expected to go the distance at first. In round 2, a huge right hand from Katsidis dropped Amonsot for the first time in the fight. Katsidis tried to close the show, but Amonsot proved to be a tough contender himself. In round 3, Amonsot refused to back down as he took over the fight and began to find a rhythm with his jab. By the end of the round, Katsidis sported the first of many nasty cuts over his left eye lid. In round 4 Amonsot looked to be in command and began to outbox Katsidis who was having trouble seeing. At the end of the round, blood from and 2nd and 3rd cut, one on his right cheek and another on his left eye lid had Katsidis in despair. In round 6, Katsidis came back and forced Amonsot to the ropes. By round 9, Katsidis was back in the fight and it looked pretty even up to this point. In round 9, a headbutt caused the 4th cut over his left eye which now had 3 separate cuts over it and poured blood dramatically over his face. The doctor was in his corner checking the eye after each round. In round 10, Katsidis broke out his saved up energy and an onslaught ensued and finally dropped the defenseless Amonsot for the 2nd time. Referee Jay Nady yelled "show me something", nearly ready to stop the fight as Amonsot offered very little, but made it out of the round and through the final 2. Final scores were 116-110, 114-112, 115-111. Amonsot falls to (18-3-1 with 10 KO's.

ROUND 3

Larios starting to land some shots here, keeping true to his word of coming on by round 4. Linares still throwin nice combos. The gab is definetly shrinking as the comentators talk about that.

This is a good fight as well! Steward says Linares should be worried about the later rounds. Linares still winning the round IMO, but its getting hard in there.

ROUND 4

nice right hand by Larios and some good body shots. one two by Linares. pace slows this round. Linares still strong and seems to be re-taking the fight. Good jabs by linares land flush. Larios is showin a pretty good defense actually. Blockin a few of Linares's shots.

ROUND 5

QUICK hard five punch combo by Linares to start the round. he isnt dominating, hes just the only one landing. Larios knocks out Linares's mouth piece with a right hand, and a good body shot. The pace slows. Its not a boring fight though because both guys are at least doing something. Its entertaining.
