    Does Hopkins hit harder than most of Wright's recent competion?

    This may be a silly question, but how does Hopkins power compare to Wright's recent competition? (Trinidad/Mosley/Quartey/Taylor)

    hopkins dosn't punch that hard. He's not the most talented. Hes the definition of hard work and being one of the most techincal fighters ever.

      Hopkins punches quite well, and hard - when he loads up.

      Hopkins never exceeds conservative perfection..

      Sometimes to a fault.


      But I don't see him as being the same guy he's been..

      I think he's spiritually more awake now.

        Are we including Felix Trinidad in that? Felix hit like a truck but he was one dimensional and both Bernard AND Winky exploited that.

            He doesn't punch soft.. but he's a bigger harder puncher than Winky is used to.. Especially since Hopkins is smart enough to gave good chances to ACTUALLY hit him.
