    amir kahn the fraud

as i said ages ago on these forums GLASS CHIN kahn is a complete fraud it annoys me to see so many people being taken in by all the hype he has a glass jaw and there is nothing anyone can do about it. but he will now be matched even more carefully to keep the money coming in, i look forward to the day he fights a world class fighter and it will be lights out for the glassed jawed fraud.

How is he a fraud? Because he got knocked down then got up and stopped his opponent? Because he won the Commonwealth title in his 13th fight?

for inspirational fighter is not when he wins but when he is knockdown and stands up to win.

It doesnt matter how many time someone get knockdown as long as he able to stand up and win that what all counts.

and Limond is a good regional fighter

This is a very unjust thread. So he got knocked down once - at age 20 against an experienced fighter who was 28-1 and the Commonwealth Champion! It looked like it was partly a pushdown, not a knockdown, although he was momentarily stunned by a punch.

Amir Khan impressed me by getting up and then decisively defeating his opponent, breaking his jaw and forcing the corner to stop the fight. He has heart and perseverance, along with lots of talent - this kid is a future champion!

To say he is a fraud is stretching things a bit but he won't win any world titles.

come on name me a decent fighter he has fought and whats so good about winning the commonwealth title. if there was not the hype fair enough but to hero worship a boxer who will never be world class is crazy, and he`s earning millions too , people are so gullible.
ps a lot of great champions could have won the commonwealth title in there second or third fight it is a micky mouse belt.

the only fighter I know who won a world title WBC less than 10 fight is Nobushi against Martin Castillo

He has had thirteen fights. Thirteen fights! He has been stepping up his competition slowly and the idea is that he can learn gradually from his mistakes against non-top level fighters so that he has a better chance against top level fighters. You wouldn't expect him to be challenging for a world title until he has had around 20 fights, his next step is to defend the commonwealth title a couple of times then try for the Lonsdale belt.

It's really too early in Khan's career to ask who he has fought.

Nobuo Nashiro really had no business being in the ring with Martin Castillo at this stage in his career but to give him credit he took the opportunity!

If Nashiro had a half decent promoter he wouldn't have had a title shot until he'd had about 20 fights.
