    Not in my opinion.

What will affect him if anything is the stylistic matchup. I don't remember the last time he fought someone who used the kind of consistent movement and punching at angles that nard uses. It's one thing to attack Wink with a barriage of blocked punches like people have...........He has never faced that level of a boxer before....ever. Nobody even comes close. Who knows.

I'm picking Wink by decision but I'm stating now I can be easily ****ing wrong because it's a pickem fight.

i think that the weight could be a factor for wright, i'm not saying that it is because we'll have to wait and see, but, it could.

the weight gain could take away his speed a bit, lessen his power( or it's effectiveness), it could have an effect on his stamina; winky had supposedly hired a football guy to help with his weight training for this fight, so he could gain the weight properly, it's a smart move but the change from what he's used to fighting with weight wise could effect his overall stamina. winky is by far no slouch, he's a top quality pound for pound fighter but the reality of the matter is that it's uncharted territory for winky and his body. hopkins made the transition extremely well, winky sure can too, but style wise i would still have to lean towards hopkins. in and out style with angles and the bag full of tricks, in my eyes beats winky's cover up coming forward, plodding forward style. that works for guys who are going to stand in front and trade or throw 2-3-maybe 4 punch combo's, then winky counters or pressures forward.

winky starting fast like he did against taylor might not be the best plan with the extra weight he's carrying, i think winky is going to be active but a little more economical with his punches. even if he does start fast i think hopkins can get winky to fight his fight, either way.

      hopkins by decision.........................

I think the whole concept of weight and the effects it has on fighters are overated, people do tend to assume that fighter putting on the weight is at a disadvatage, but it doesnt always work like that.

Ive gone for Hopkins in this fight based on the fact he is a very smart matchmaker and i dont believe he picks fights unless he is sure that he will win, he also picks fights which stylistically suit him alot,

Put bernard hopkins in a with a guy who throws alot of punches, he wont wanna play anymore.
