    Will Margarito STFU Already??

This guy is pathetic. All respect I had for him went out the window based on his post fight actions. First in the ring he embarasses himself. Then in the post fight conference he claims the fight was fixed and Arum gets pissed off and cuts off the conference prematurely. Now he's whining to every boxing publication that will listen, "I know I won the fight, all my fans know I won, we all can't be wrong"

STFU!!! You BARELY won 3 rounds, this guy cries more then Hopkins did after the 1st Taylor fight and at least Hopkins made that competitive, Margarito had the 10th and 11th, and all of a sudden he assumes he was winning. "After the 9th round I knew I was ahead on the scorecards" LOL WHAT?!!! YOU CLEARLY LOST THE FIRST 6 ROUNDS!! Karma is a b**ch, and it's no surprise he'll never get the payday he wanted. You can tell a real champion by how he loses, and this guy is a disgrace.

3 rounds? I never even liked Margarito and even I saw the fight being a very close one. If you've only watched this fight once or twice, you need to go back and watch it again with the sound off. Don't let Jim Lampley or Larry Merchant sway your own judgment. There were many rounds that were pretty close.

That said after seeing the fight 8 times I still scored it 115-113 in favor of Williams.

Don't forget to mention how when Williams went to hug him and show him respect Tony refused to embraced him.

I'll admit that was very unsportsman like conduct.

          Still in denial...

Margarito is embarassed with the way he lost.

His excuse is that he blocked most of the punches with his gloves and wasn't hurt in any round. Ok, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, since he was never in danger throught the fight.

I guess he feels just being the aggressor in the fight would've swayed the judges' decision.

In his mind, having no title means having to go back to the drawing board and working double time to set up title shots.

If he feels that bad, he should just re-match Williams to try and get his belt back (not likely).

IMO, Only if changes his boxing style a bit (new trainer?), and get's some new people on his team, would his chances at regaining the title improve.

          But that's just me.

I watched it with the sound off because Lampley was so pro Margarito it was disgusting. I gave him 3 rounds, you could argue 4. 7-5 is ridiculous and not even close.

Margarito couldn't hang with Williams. How the hell could he hang with a guy that REALLY moved his feet and hit him at will? He loses every single round to Mayweather.

I'm glad we're done with this guy to be honest. Boxing doesn't need creeps like him who hold onto meaningless belts as long as they can, start to ditch the belt ONLY when the first decent mandatory rolls along (Paul Williams), realizes he'll be a hypocrite if he does so, and takes the fight only to lose big.

I gave him 3 rounds. He got dominated as far as scorecards go.
