i once debated a brit, as to whehter or not hopkins ducked calzaghe..

a lot of them claimed that this really happened..

my first thought was, a guy like hopkins, a guy who was a bad ass and hardcore criminal, learning to box in prison, would this type of guy duck anyone.. **** NO..

after a couple of minutes i asked, well is there som proof, who told you that hopkins priced himself out.. he told me, that the person who claimed it, was the one and only frank warren-- end of ****ing story..

i remember when jones and hopkins were talking live on hbo back when roy was in his prime and hopkins wanted 50/50 and jones said 60/40 or no deal. i dont see that as pricing himself out. jones won the first fight and hopkins wanted a rematch i dont see why jones shouldn't get 60/40.

The fight vs Hopkins was going to happen it was pretty much signed, after agreeing to the fight Hopkins then demanded twice as much money. Calzaghe will fight outside the UK for someone like taylor, wright, hopkins he said this plenty of times. Don't get me wrong Warren does Calzaghe no good but some of the **** Calzaghe gets is wrong.

Would he tho, hes getting paid what $6m for this fight and the dollar is collapsing. I would like him to fight the winner of wright vs hopkins or pavlik vs taylor in the U.S, its just getting him in the ring with them. Yea im hoping that Joe doesnt break his hand vs Kessler but i think he could outbox Kessler with one hand like you said urself Kessler is nothing special. Dawson would beat Calzaghe, woods is still just a bum and at 168 roy would have Killed Joe, I think hopkins stayed at 160 for to long, but Id favor both over Calzaghe, at 168 roy by tko10 and Hopkins by SD.
