You forgot Tyrone Everett, who was robbed blind in his hometown against Escalera, then murdered for his love of switch-hitting.

Oh and Bennie Briscoe. Too bad he was stuck in the same era as Carlos Monzon

I've wondered the same thing in the past. Meldrick Taylor was clearly schooling Chavez and had the fight went to decision it would've been a UD for Taylor. The thing you have to remember is that while Chavez was landing some bombs to Taylor in the later rounds, Meldrick owned his ass for three quarters of the fight and was on his way to a unanimous decision.

Duva's kamikaze tactics didn't do Taylor any favors in the fight. Telling him he needed to win the 12th? wtf!

Ever since then I've hated Duva. Taylor could've given Chavez the 12th and still gotten a 116-112 win, at least. Chavez barely won a round in that fight.
