I did not say Vick kissed ass...
What I said about Vick is that he has harmed black people by....being a highly public figure, and will now soon be a convicted felon.
With all the gifts that he was given, all the money that he made, all the good that he could have done...he chose to be an abuser, even murderer of dogs.
All for what?...in the name of keeping it real?
What this does is further damage the image that some white people have of black folks. As I was trying to point out...some will assume all kinds of things, based on a tv picture.
Vick is a role model for many...he has a great deal of power...and how did he use it.
To particiapate in an ignorant, sadistic, illegal event...dog fighting.
As I said, there is more than one way to define a Tom...it isn't just the yessa boss, kinda fools...to me it is also those who embarrass their race.
Not to mention the human race also...which Vick has done.I am embarrassed that a black man was doing this ****...I am also embarrassed that human beings do **** like he was doing.
And I know he has not been convicted...but do you doubt it?
Cause you know,he was known for 'keepin' it real'...Comment

Did yall watch that white rapper show, Hahaha. Im not black but *****z either put a smile on my face or annoy the **** out of me specially if the ***** is trying to be hard. How can you blame folks for wanting to act black though. Black people are cool as hell. Hip hop has crossed over races making money from *iggaz globally; so if your hatin, you can blame hip for this phenomenon. You can go to Japan, Siberia, England and see kids saggin their pants and strollin with a limp. Im guilty as well. When I wanna peep game or when I get confronational thie fligga comes out though I aint consciously trying. I guess its just people I hang out with or the music I listen to but it aint like Im trying to be black or nothing.Last edited by Alibata; 07-19-2007, 12:19 PM.Comment

Im torn on the ****** thing. Sometimes guys just like the clothes, like the Hip Hop lifestyle, but they dont go overboard. I always thought it was foolish to say people "dress black". It just so happens that most of the people associated with Hip Hop are black. Its ridiculous to think that just because a black guy wears American Eagle, or a white guy wears Coogi, that they are weird. I was always against that.
I have a black friend who wears rock shirts and skater shoes. People used to say, "Oh hes not black". What the ****? How does what he wears change the fact that he's black? Thats the dumbest **** I've ever heard. So he has to go around dressed like Lil Wayne, sayin ***** this ***** that in order to be black?
Anyways, Im fine with a white guy dressing like that or listening to hip hop. The only thing that bothers me is when they try to act hard, and say *****. That just bothers the hell out of me. I find that ignorant no matter what color you are.
This is the type of **** I cant stand.Comment

As long as no ******s or whatever bother me or my people then I don't care. I don't care if u dress like me, but don't try and talk like me to be cool. I don't want no white man calling me the n-word. I don't want really a black man to do it either.Comment

Were all a bunch of followers. Trends are set all the time. People are always trying to be cool. I remember when all the black guys in school had big clocks around their necks. Hey if nerds were the "in thing", Im sure wed all be wearing glasses and sporting pocket protectors. I aint black or white but I can't get why *****z are such a problem. I have a black friends that hate *****z and I rag on em for it cuz its ******.Last edited by Alibata; 07-19-2007, 12:44 PM.Comment
