5 Reasons Why Williams Cant Beat PBF

    1. We havent seen Williams against any fast hands yet.
    2. PBF's countering style is very hard to deal with. None has as of yet.
    3. Williams out-put will go against him. PBF is too slick.
    4. Regarding height: didnt save Diego.
    5. Williams likes to get low...too low for my taste. I guy his size should never have to bob & weave against considerably smaller opposition...Williams does it often.

I'm not saying Williams could never beat Floyd...just not right now. I'de like to see 2 more fights from Paul before he goes for PBF...and considering the lay of politrix @ this moment I'de say thats right about when he'll meet PBF.

The way Paul started against Margy was new. He never throws w/that much authority and showed me how he looks whilst doing it. He looked crisp. If he can keep up that pace of hard shots theres no competition for him. A little less out-put and a little more punch-put and Williams is the total package.

    He needs a sig punch.

You dont think Floyd would have difficulty counter-punching with more than a foot in reach disadvantage?

An Octopus will always beat a Weasel.
Williams height , reach , southpaw Jab and volume of punches will confuse the weasel known as Floyd Mayweather jr.

Williams, so far as I could tell, doesn't have much on his punches. This is the type of fighter where Mayweather will trade with, sit down on his punches, and probably KO in mid rounds. Against anyone with power, you get a performance like that against Oscar.

i like ur reasons, and i would only add that paul has terrible balance and he would NOT be able to throw that many punches because floyd is too fast in countering and too elusive to hit.

i actually want to see this fight. paul williams is imo the best fight for floyd at 147. floyd still wins this fight in impressive fashion but i see paul giving him competition. his high punch output will keep him in the fight for a while but floyd's speed and timing will win him the fight, trust me. paul williams is no corrales and floyd isn't fighting at 130 where he was much faster, but his smarts are still there and paul doesn't throw many punches with conviction so i don't see him overpowwering floyd but floyd hits harder than people think and paul did get hit hard by magarito and took the shots pretty well, but floyd would outbox him to a victory.

In theory, you make good points. In theory. Real fights aren't won based on theory, though. These topics are better off not being made IMO.

                    Williams doesn't fight tall, people.

So let's stop talking about the size difference.
