Berto is really developing as a fighter though. Williams won't be able to make 147 for much longer. He'll have to make the move up to 154 and even then, he poses a big threat to most fighters in that category.

You base him being feared on what? He just fought the ONLY guy he has called out.

You have to be ducked for at least a few months before you can say he is feared.

Is PW a good WW who will be taken seriously and considered with caution, Yeah. But the same damn thing holds true for Cotto and Cintron.

So the answer to this thread question is NO.

Is Williams now the most feared man in boxing?

He'd give Cotta hella problems and mark my words he would beat Shane Mosley simply on the "Styles make fights" judgement. He's in the same mold as Vernon Forrest being a tall lanky welterweight.

The man is the Johnny Ruiz of the welterweights in resemblence to the fact that he fights like a human octopus.

yes but this is a fight that can happen down the road. maybe after williams can make 5 defenses of his title. berto fights pretty often. he'll be at 25-0 or 30-0 in no time.

Not really. Before that fight, Mosley was ready to fight him but Cintron was having promotional troubles. Williams just beat the guy that destroyed Cintron. Cintron is much more beatable than Williams right now...

Arum won't put Cotto in the ring with Williams. I don't think any promoter would put their fighter in with him unless they had to like Margarito did. Who is more feared than Williams right now?

speaking for myself, this is a fight I want to see in 2009 or something. after berto builds that record up and keeps his 0. no body is saying that williams 1st defense should be berto.

Thats all speculation, PW JUST won the WBA belt from Margarito. Your projecting your thoughts as to what Arum or other Managers/Promoters would do with no base.

At least when Margarito was chanting most feared he was a title holder for a little while with no one fighting him.

Your claiming most feared a couple of days after PW's won against his FIRST top fighter.
