Naito Upsets Wonjongkam For WBC Fly Title

It's crazy how he lost to this guy, I mean he knocked him out in the first round one time and then I think completely shut him out in the other. It's probably good he lost so now we don't see him fighting bums and being the champ. Now he can fight bums and we don't care.
Nonito can still fight Sakata ( I think that's his name) and Komeda which would be some big fights in Asia.Comment

I dont understand, when he fought Naito the first time, Naito was blown out in 30 seconds, and then got another swift beatdown about a year later, this doesnt make any senseIt's crazy how he lost to this guy, I mean he knocked him out in the first round one time and then I think completely shut him out in the other. Naito Upsets Wonjongkam For WBC Fly Title
In a stunning upset, Japan's Daisuke Naito (31-2-2, 20KOs) won a unanimous decision over Pongsaklek Wonjongkam (65-3, 34KOs) to win the WBC flyweight title, ending Pongsaklek's 56-bout win streak, which included 17 defenses of the WBC title that began in July 1996. Naito avenges two previous knockout losses to the Thai champion. [details]Comment

LOL maybe Calzaghe should avoid fighting Mario Veit or whatever his name is for a third time. I was really looking forward to them fighting again if Calzaghe beats Kessler.

I'm trying to figure out how Bernard was able to outslick Robert Allen the third time they fought. He must be one of the greatest ever.Comment

Thank ****ing god that somebody beat that clown. Nothing worse for the sport than protected backyard ass fighters like him. It's sad when the best fighter you faced during your title reign was Hussein Hussein (no disrespect to him, but come on).Comment

Wongjongkam's reign is over
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he should retire now
Unheralded and unexpected Daisuke Naito (31-2-2, 20 KOs), 112, Japan, amazingly captured the WBC flyweight belt as he fully frustrated long-reigning defending champ Pongsaklek Wonjongkam Kratingdaeng-gym (65-3, 34 KOs), 112, a Thai southpaw, with his tricky mobility and roundhouse attacks in earlier rounds, withstood the champ’s furious retaliation in the ninth, and earned a close but unanimous decision (116-113 twice and 115-113) over twelve heats on Wednesday in Tokyo, Japan.Last edited by Texanballer; 07-18-2007, 02:14 PM.Comment
