Pavlik himself admits that he lost. But he also correctly said that the amatuers are the amatuers.

I dont think either guy gets rudely awakened. I think it'll be a hard grueling match with either Taylor prevailing by UD, or Pavlik by KO.

Ive been back and forth and back and forth on this fight. Its a tough one to decide for me. Ill be pulling for Pavlik though.

Thats the best part. They wont have to, the job will have already been done for them if Pavlik wins. HE'LL be the next HBO poster boy, and a very entertaining one at that!

I think Pavlik maybe underestimating Taylor with all his talking!!! He was meant to be the quite slugger who doesnt talk **** about his opponents!!! Miranda was a good win for pavlik but taylor has beaten one of the best middle weights ever!!!

I think Taylor has little bit to much skill for pavlik!!!

Pavlik will stop Taylor without too much trouble. I USED to be a fan of Taylor, but he bores me to death now. Taylor will not be able to hide from Pavlik's power. Pavlik by ko in 7!

....This is an interesting fight and I think it will bring out the best in Taylor. He's going to actually have to fight in this one. Pavlik will not allow him to just sit there. If he handles the pressure and the in your face from Pavlik then he wins a decision, if he can't handle it then he gets KO'd. A great fight for sure and what boxing should be all about.

I think a lot of people are underestimating Taylor after two admittedly lackluster performances. On the other hand Ouma and Spinks while not true MW in size definitely present difficult styles that can make anyone look bad. Furthermore Taylor is leaving Arkansas for his training camp unlike his last two fights and will be in better shape and more focused. Pavlik really impressed me with his win against Miranda and I think he has a very good chance to win, but I think its a pick 'em fight. Taylor has at least fought two of the best p4p fighters of the last 5 years very close in 3 fights. Pavlik has never fought anyone on that level.

I think Pavlik by KO in the 4th. Taylor will run when he feels the power. Alot of people still dont understand that every single punch Pavlik throws hurts. Not many people can take the abuse Pavlik gives throughout the fight. By the looks of his last 2 fights he really loves getting people on the ropes and just having his way with them. In the 4th round Pavlik will say "Put the belts on me!"

I'm not underestimating Taylor he has great size and the tools to be an excellent boxer /puncher. However he does not know what to do with the talent he has. He is average at best since his string of fights with Hopkins. He looked decent against Winky but, he never put his hands up to block the jab.

He better pick that hand up becuase Pavlik is a fierce puncher and will be going all out to stop Taylor. I say Taylor looks good for the first 5 rounds. Then Taylor goes down either 6-10 via KO. I say this not becuase he can't take a punch. But his defense causes him to get hit more than he should. Pavlik with a KO in the second half of the fight.

Remeber Hopkins nearly had him out in both fights in the late rounds but couldn't do enough to finish him off. I say Pavlik finishes the job.

It was obvious that Taylor is there to be hit when he is forced to go backwards which is in just about every fight he has had. If he lets Pavlik hit him half as much as Winky did or more to the point if he puts himself in position to be hit against the ropes he will eat some of those big shots that Miranda took and he will not take them as well.
