Like I said, enjoy your two fighters. We'll enjoy our many over here.

If we had two good fighters, I'm sure everyone would attend their fights. As it turns out, we have lots of good fighters.

Nice right hook...now please tell these Floyd haters to STFU.

If they do fight, and after PBF disembowels Hatton...will there be a national day of mourning in England?...I know there will be on this board.

The fight shouldn't happen in England because Hatton isn't in the one in the drivers seat to be calling the shots. Also who gives a **** if he can sell out a big ass stadium. The fight being held in Las Vegas will generate more money because of the ******** all the other things like that. Stop being so ignorant and thinking gate sales are key to everything.

**** Hatton will lose badly if that fight ever happens anyway. Never heard of a fighter who has fought between 35-40 fights not coming off a long lay off or injury needing more fights to face another fighter. What makes that even worse is that none of the fighters Hatton has fought in the mean time is a top contending slick boxer to where he could possibly gauge how he would do against PBF. Thats bull****!!!!

Muhammad Ali's rematch against Leon Spinks holds the record with 63,500 descending on the Louisiana Superdome in 1978 to watch 'The Greatest' win the world heavyweight title for a third time.
There were 120,000 spectators for the first Dempsey - Tunney fight.

Frank Warren expects the total live gate to be around $14 million with about 60-70k tickets sold. Mayweather-DLH did almost $20 million at the gate with about 19k tickets sold.

That's why it should in the US...

                  what does this

Its not all about ticket sales there, the casino's individually and as groups purchase rights to host the fights. Depending on the fight they pay tens of millions of dollars.

They can do this because they know they will make hundreds of millions from the influx of people coming that weekend.

The UK arenas CAN NOT out bid Vegas its that simple. Economics.
                  have to do with nationalism?

AT least you argue with logic... But that 14 million figure is actually in Pounds which is 28 million dollars.....

How that works is.. In the USA .. boxing is NOT mainstream.. Its a celebrity event.. The best seats sell for like 3-5k and the only people who buy them are actors and singers.. who simply want to be seen.. and dont care about shelling out A few grand.. christ they pay 1k just for a hair cut.. it makes them feel special to pay inflated prices..

Now every where else its just Joe Shmuck buying the seats up...

They should hold the fight in America, there are more dumbasses over there willing to spend thousands on a ringside seat.
