    Khans Knock down!!

I think it has done Amir a world of good, In that fight.....Being Dumped on his arse is a valuable lesson, And one that he needed to be tought..He now has more fear when he fights and thats what most fighters need to feel, In order to home in on the skills and improve. Hes young, 20 Years of age hes got plenty of time to go back and look at fights and correct his mistakes. He is not the finished article yet...But hey he got knocked down he got up again and he broke the fellas jaw! There aint nothing wrong in that from where I'm sitting..Hes gonna be a real good boxer, And another fun British fighter who comes in the ring for a tearup.."Unlike Mayweather"

I think you will defs see a diffrent Amir in his next fight just from the lessons he learnt from his last fight..Remember he is a thinker.

Yep i cant believe the amount of stick khan got for being dumped on his ass. Willie Limmond was a very good boxer so khan did well to beat him eventually. So he got dumped on his ass. So what!!! He will get better and beat that Thaxton eventually.

      Did you know

there is only one certain number of times you can get knocked down and everytime you are your chin weakens?

Think Mayweather fights the smart fight. He's not boring, he moves alot, just doesn't get hit. For his haters it should be frustating, not boring.

RJJ only got knocked down once and it seems his chin was always weak. Next time the wind will knock RJJ down then by your logic.

he brings the stick upon himself, he called out all the British fighters and said you better fight me now before its to late, sayings hes going to be a world champion in a year, maybe it knocked some sense into him but now every fighter knows he can be beaten, which is definatly not good for Khan, hes going to have to work on his defense, maybe get a new trainer, i know the one he has now is a kick boxer trainer right? if he continues to use his defense like he does with the weak beard he has his career isn't going to go far. I think with Khan hes earned too much money when he really hasn't done much apart from be great in the amateur's.

I agree with this assesment, he should forget about a world title soon, Casamayor (even though he may not be at his best) would beat him easily right now, also that Katsidis dude would give Khan a good hiding as well,

Its wierd watching Khan fight, he doesnt react enough to what his opponent is doing, he just throws when he likes, its almost as if he other guy isnt there, needs to respond to what his opponent is doing, and then make the judgement, all this rushing in with multiple shots everytime is predictable, leaves him open to counters too much, and kills his stamina,

If you read the orginal thread on fightnight, i posted just before he got knocked down, that i thought there was no way he had the stamina to go 12 rounds, he looked gassed, he has his mouth wideopen and the fight wasnt even in the championship rounds lol.

I agree mate about him reacting, he doesn't have that spark you see in fighters that go far.

its funny how UK guys forgive david haye and enzo mccaranelli for being koed by journeyman, but when khan gets dropped by a decent boxer like limond(and you should note that it was more inexperience than anything, cus khan tried to clinch from too far...) everybody says he's a bum....

Nah, Enzo mac is a pile of dog **** in boxing gloves, i dont forgive him for anything.

Carl Thompson was a bit more than a Journeyman, he was a dangerous fighter, he had serious power, and pretended to be hurt badly in fights when he was fine, he would then come back and knockout his opponent who wasted all energy pretending trying to finish him off.

Seriously, what he did to Haye was so funny, he deserved an oscar for pretending to be on the verge of being stopped lmao.
