10 Fighters who could save boxing.......

With all the marquee fighters coming to the end of their careers I only wonder if new blood will enter the pro-scene, as the existing crop is fairly lack-lustre. There are however good fighters who if promoted well and given the right televised fights could become future stars. Here are the ones that post-DLH, Tyson, X, Jones, Lewis should emerge as the kings of boxing.

    1. Tito (he won't beat X, but he will be his successor)
    2. Cotto (P.R. is going to have a lot to celebrate)
    3. Winky (maybe he will take over from X)
    4. Mayweather (total @ss, but boxing needs him badly)
    5. Morales (still has a few good fights/years left)
    6. Pac-Man (needs to fight Barrera and Morales)
    7. Vitali (he MUST unify the division for true respect)
    8. Jeff Lacy (still young, should fight Tarver/Calzaghe)
    9. Shane Mosley (lets see how a change of trainer works)
10.Rafael Marquez (great fighter, too small to be a name)

There are of course others but these are all either established and plan to continue or young prospects that may emerge as stars yet. Maybe Ronald Hearns will prove that boxing skill is genetic, I hope.
