LOL yuh Joel. Jorge Julio was the Marlions closer at the start of the season. he isnt anymore because he had 8 save oppurtunities and blew 5 of them. he still haunts me.

Collazo would be a better fir then Julio, but Collazo is coming off a loss. I guess you can throw Quintana in the mix if he can get back to winning ways. There is alot the Punisher can do. even a rematch with Margs isnt a bad idea. he can go another 12 with Margs with no heat.

he'll make 147 as long as he has the descipline ang hunger.

BHop competed @160 for as long as he wants. He was able to do that because of his dedication and hunger.

The marquez brothers move up because of bigger fights they didnt have trouble making 118 and 126.

its up to the fighters actually.

*Dont give excuses to lazy fighters that cant make their most competitive weight <== ive read this in this forum somewhere

The 154lbs division is open for the taking at this point. You have carlos and forrest fighting for a belt that mayweather gave up. Oscar is hinting at a fight at 147lbs. Ouma has decided to keep fighting at 154. So spinx is the only real champion in that division.
154lbs would be a great place for williams. In his last fight with margarito he weight in at 162 once the bell sounded. So he can move and have a great output with 17 pounds added on. He has the body to move up all the way to 168, in time of course.

My question is how long should paul try to make 147 before moveing up in weight?

My answer to my own question is this, he should fight cintron and unify the belts then move up. A fight with mosely that he wants would be good but there is a big chance of loseing. A rematch with margarito would be even closer and I think margarito would start faster. FYI final punch stats don't mean ****, fights are won one round at a time, 7 rounds to 5 for williams, close fight to say other wise is people just looking at final punch stats and not scoreing the fight
forget williams.. how long will cotto make it ... cotto walks around over 180

it didnt seem to affect him bunch. he throw over 1000 punches in the first 10 rounds, but seeem to get a little tired in the 11th but had alot left in the 12. i say he should stay because all the big fights are at welterweight.

I agree if he was totally drained he would have never kept that pace and fell apart in the later rounds. Plus the big checks are at WW and I bet he'll get to that weight with the millions in sight.

I say for as long as he wants to, he weighed in a 145 but after throwing so many punches he seemed to get tired in ther later rounds, but had a lot of energy in the Twelfth, he should try to get a fight with cotto or cintron and try to unify the titles.
