This fight just delays possible unification matches.

At this point I wouldnt say COTTO is doing anything. He just goes by whatever Arum tells him to do. I highly doubt Cotto cares who he fights. This is Arum's problem. Bring on Williams if Mosley isnt available. I know its a hard fight, but there are no easy fights in this division.

because i'm not into rewarding someone for losing. margarito lost, see how that works. this isn't tee ball anymore.

nobody wanted to see a cotto / margarito fight more than me, margarito wants to be a dumbass and not fight, well let him not fight

i agree with that statement, what happens if this fight goes through and margarito beats cotto ? what now ? margarito WBA champ, williams WBO champ, Cintron IBF champ, matweather WBC champ.....these titles need to be unified

This fight ain't happening. Nowhere did I read that it was happening, just being mentioned. What do you expect Arum to do? Tell Margarito to f*** off? He's going to look like the good guy for a while before realizing the fight won't sell now and that he needs a proven opponent like Mosley.

Agreed, I think Arum was just angry and upset that Margo lost. I am sure that in these couple of weeks he will calm down and realize that a Cotto/Margo fight doesnt make much sense now. I doubt very much that this fight will happen any time soon.

Rafael actually said Arum is still trying to make the fight happen, so I believe it now. If this comes off Ill be pissed.

The action of a Margarito/Cotto fight would be great and that's the only reason why if the fight came off I wouldn't totally be dissapointed. This has happend before with Mayweather/Judah so I wouldn't be suprised if it happened again.

I would much rather see Mosley/Cotto just because it would be one of the pieces to solve the WW division and a Margarito/Cintron fight just to see if Cintron has really improved. The thing is though is there is a ton of good matchups in the WW division.
