You didn't mean to be, but you're actually right. His game looks to have tightened up since then so it's probably the best thing that could have happened to him.

Yeah, it's hard to look as good as Cintron has against elite welters like Oscar Suarez, David Estrada, and Walter Matthyse. Those guys would make Mayeather look average...

Like it's equally hard to look good against a 90 year old Mitchell and that snail in molasses, Baldomir?

Cintron wouldn't beat Floyd ever. And if Floyd did beat him everyone say oh Cintron wasn't much to begin with.

That snail in molasses was the real welterweight champ not some guy who won a vacated belt, and Mitchell was a tune up for a new weightclass.

Mayweather looks as good in his biggest fights as he does in his tuneups. That old Mitchell is one of many fighters Hatton ducked...

Yeah, Baldomir's the real deal and was clearly the daddy of the division

Hide behind the lineality all you want, it doesn't fool anybody. And why does Floyd need tune-ups for a 140lber that he's already embarassed in sparring? At least Hatton showed some balls in moving up at short notice and straight in with a genuine WW. A southpaw champ at that.

hatton is boring garbage, so why do you compare him to mayweather so much when mayweather isnt garbage but he is boring. mayweather does not fight dangerous opponents de la hoya (cuz age), baldomir, and gatti were not dangerous at all, while cintron would give him a good fight.

He looked poor against DLH, Judah and Castillo for large portions of the fights, so that's not true.

Even if he got better, he still did not beat anyone of the caliber of Spinks.

And Judah never looked as bad as he did against Tony, not even against Zoo.
