    Props to Margarito

I've never been a fan, i've always thought he was overrated BUT you gotta give the man props, he took a dangerous fight with high risk and little reward and it didn't turn out good for him. He's basically killed off any possibility at least for now for big money fights against Cotto, PBF or anyone else. No one will touch Tony now, he's a high risk proposition with NO reward since he doesn't even have a belt now.

BUT if all fights took their mandatories and fought who they should fight even if it's high risk with little reward then the sport will be in much better shape

totally agree. I feel sorry for tony as he's risked and failed and to be honest now he's never gona get a big fight unless he beats cintron or something then with the ibf belt he can use it to call cotto out.

I give him ****. He was far from humble post fight and he knew he lost the fight and the urgency in his corner says they knew it too.

Little reward? Margys purse for last night was his highest to date!

i think he means little MARGARITO is the high
risk low reward, meaning u risk a lot for a man
who is less than u in a business way
meaning someone like mayweather will defintely
not fight tony now that he has been beaten, plus he is a tough fight
thats 2 strikes against him, he is a tough good fighter that will still
hurt u in his loss, same goes for cotto

Give him props? He finally fought someone that we the fans regarded as a tough opponent but was still untested yet. That's probably what Toney felt. He would blast through Paul. Margarito was the high risk low reward fighter to begin with. Nobody wants to fight him and now that somebody did and beat him, he's done. I'm glad too because his bitching was becoming very obnoxious. Almost as obnoxious as him claiming he won the fight. Thank you Paul Williams.
