Congratulations to the newly crowned WBO Champ, Paul Williams. The Punisher has earned my respect in many ways. It is good to see a fighter bring his A-game. The work rate of punches thrown for this young fighter is, for the most part, exceptional. Whether some landed, and some didn't, he was active non the less.
I for one, thought those looks Williams gave us as his picture was being taken, and at the weigh-in, shows his wide eyes and a look of uncertainty, had me leaning towards Margarito retaining the WBO title. boy, was I ever wrong! Hence the notion that looks can be deceiving. Paul williams has passed the test, in my eyes, and deserves nothing but respect. More so that he maintains his compose and does not bad mouth any other fighter. Did you guys watch Paul Williams speak at the post fight conference? showed nothing but respect towards Margarito, and has a a great deal of charisma with his polite nature.
