im sorry im gonna have to disagree with u
winky is a great 1 dimensional boxer, his style is too simply come forward with his guard up and wait for opportunities to counter with jabs and straight left's, kant make any mistakes with that simple plan....
paul williams triple jabbed, came forward, ducked moved and showed great ring movement and a hell of a chin, he took 6-7 hard rights by margarito (one that opened up a cut) and still stood in front of him, he did everything right to win that fight, now u wanna knock his power, i guess that lack of power put those bruises on IRON chinned margarito, the kid outworked outlanded and pushed margarito around all nite, margarito kant win a fight fighintg 6 rounds landing those looping big shots, sorry this is boxing folks not THE POWER SHOT GAME

He beat Margarito, but he's still ****. Sorry.
I'm alittle surprised at this statement Kayjay(are you being sarcastic again?). I was impressed by Williams' workrate(who wasn't?), his movement and agility, and the speed on his punches. I was also impressed with the way Paul came out and dominated the 12th after weathering Margarito's rally in round 11. But, I agree that his power is something to be desired....

No, I'm not being sarcastic. I'm overstating my case just a touch to compensate for the public enthusiasm. He's not that good, he's just uncoordinated. He won't do well above welter, and he'll get destroyed by a top fighter. I'd pick Judah over him.

Edit: I agree to giving him credit for his 12th round. The kid has heart and has a good time with it, he's just not an athlete and he doesn't punch right.

I think the way he did that on the 9th being pressed the two previous rounds were even more impressive

He cant really punch at welter if he moves up to middle then he's gona be hurt. Even if he stays at welter he will be beat by cotto so it doesn't matter.

from what i saw he is very coordinated...

he just seems off balance at times because of he lankyness

I was surprised how Williams, being the big target he is, was able to confuse Marg with his movement and workrate that Antonio couldn't find a consistent target all night....

His arms are not coordinated with his body movement when he punches. That's what I meant. That's why he has no power or balance.
