De la Hoya back at 147!

After the Margarito fight, HBO's Larry Merchant reported that Oscar was moving back to 147. I think this is the best thing to happen to him in a long time. He is a killer at 147. The only thing is, who does he fight? With Margarito/Cotto falling through, it looks like Sugar Shane is gonna get Cotto. With all due respect to Cintron and Paul Williams, the only fight that makes sense is Cotto. However, I don't see Shane waiting any longer or stepping aside. So the question is, who makes sense for Oscar to fight at 147, and who would just be entertaining as hell to fight at 147?

Can he please just retire. He clearly has seen his best days and even then he never won the big fights so why would he win now? He just messes up good potential fights because everybody wants in on that $ so champs will fight him even if there is a much better fight out there. If you are a fan of DLH I understand you want your guy to continue, but if you are a fan of the sport then he is doing us no good (yes I know his the most recognizable boxer but I have accepted the reality that boxing is a fringe sport right now). Frankly I think that if boxing started actually promoting the best fights more people would be drawn back.

No Oscar is not in his Prime anymore but who 147 do you see dominating the goldenboy. Oscar can beat any of the top contenders at 147 cept for PBP.

              Oscar should fight Quintana.

              The one Cotto beat up.

If Mayweather is fighting Hatton (i think Oscar wants Hatton too) and Shane is fighting Cotto, Oscar will either have to steal one of these fights or content for not so much money. I'm almost sure he wants Hatton. He can beat Hatton for sure and after PBF beats Hatton, hatton wont be a big draw anymore.

But he should retire after whatever fight he's planning. He has done enough. don't be another gatti having to get beaten by a contender (the show) fighter to realize it. Also Shane Mosley should retire not fight Cotto. And One more to PBF and he too should retire. PBF should realize he wont make nearly as much money if he loses just one time.. And time catches up to everyone.

there is no $$$$ invlove vs quintana, like i said the only ones would be either hatton or cotto, a fight with either one would generate decent $$$....if DLH fights hatton floyd should just stay retired....like he said
