In some ways I'm just mad because Jersey has like no good boxers. Gatti was the last heart of Jersey, I don't know of any other good current boxers for jersey. Except for me, ashame i'll never go pro.

Yep same here, i was convinced gatti was gonna ko gomez and not have that much trouble with him, but the gatti we watched last night, i just want him to retire for his own good.
People have said that the gatti that fought mayweather was shot but in the build up to this fight i watched the daumgarrd fight and although he wasn't the gatti of ten years ago he was still significantly better than he was last night.
Anyway, the money i lost on gatti and any pride lost picking him pale into insigficance to how sad i felt watching that fight, i won't let it detract from my opinion of him at all and am just grateful for all the entertainment he's provided down the years.
