People are trippin......most people that had seen Margy fight before tonight had to known he was ripe for the pickin against a guy like Williams who proved to be able to take a shot and continue to sih it out.....I still think Cotto/Margy would be a great fight let the good times roll as far as I'm concerned.

Cintron/Williams and Margy/Cotto and the winners face off....winner of that should get the winner of Floyd/Mosley......thats how it would go down in my world.

Now that Williams beat Margarito,

The haters have nowhere to go. Most of their lives centered around discrediting Margarito...and since he lost they're like homeless vagrants.

Their entire life just collapsed like a house of wet cards. They can keep pointing to how a super active probably the biggest welterweight of all time beat him is, and then what? He's a bum.

Stop it. Margarito is not a bum. Williams won fair and square but WHY DO ONE ALWAYS HAVE TO DISRESPECT THE LOSERS? Margarito threw alot of good things into the ring. He didn't look shot, down or anything like that. He is NO BUM. Until the 11th he could have had a one punch or combo Knock down and changed the fight. Respect all fighters as principle. What you could argue is the afterfight interview where Margarito said he was robbed, but you have to forgive him for that, having made 8 successful defenses...

We need to let fighters like Floyd, Shane or Oscar out of the mix. They will probably have one more top fight and it will be among fighters of the same generation. Or comeback in some years attracted by the money and pull a Zab Judah or Gatti. You grow used to the millions. It's hard to let go. Few fighters managed to retire on top.
