Foolish post. Williams showed that reach, height and a high output will beat Margarito. Floyd is 5' 7" and is at a significant reach disadvantage to Tony. Not to mention he's naturally a much smaller man. How do many of you think Mayweather would fare against Williams?? I think Williams will be the NEW most avoided man in boxing...

If you were 6.1 ft tall where would you put your long arms when the fight came up close? Maybe hang them in the air? Also being that tall, in order to make weight he can't be as powerful as he could be in an heavier WC.
Williams won (against also my prediction) but he won fair and square. Margarito's stamina would serve Williams so much better than it had served Margarito if he had all that. Is tank is medium size right now. Margarito's is Jumbo.

That was a poor result, I had Margarito up on the cards. If being dominated is having someone slap your gloves for twelve rounds then sign me up as a professional opponent. Margarito had Williams hurt through most of the fight, Williams never once made a dent in Margarito. Hatton gets a lot of stick for his hit and hold style, but at least he hits! Slap-slap-slap then as soon as Tony got past his jab it was a lover's moment.

I agree that Williams physical attributes played a factor, but also did his athletic ability. Floyd is probably the most athletic fighter in boxing. Did you see how slow Margarito was moving, his punches as well and most of them were wide. Floyd's hand speed and foot speed would just be too much for Marg.
