khan cant do anything about the media frenzy over him, if anything it just puts unnecessary presure on what should be maturing fights, but none the less he gets on with the job and comes out with the victory.

a win is a win but that chin has to give you cause for concern, a glass jaw tends to follow you.

People forget that ANYONE in the HW division can seem to have a glass jaw. They're heavyweights for goodness sakes, any shot can KO anyone at anytime. Lewis got caught with spectacular shots by McCall and especially Rahman that would've pasted any heavyweight.

At the age of 20? After only 13 professional fights?

I do agree with most of your assessment on the matter though.

Amir Kahn fought a tough ass dude for his 13th fight. The guy he was fighting only lost one time, thats pretty tough. He might be being rushed too quickly now.

His target was a world title at 21, which just aint gonna happen unless we start counting the IBO etc etc,

Hey Audley harisson was a world champion, WBF title.

Seriously tho, he looks too big for 135, obviously warren wont want him on a collision course with his guys at 140 so i doubt khan will move up yet,

Khan has skills, offensivley, but defensively its not good enough, and he is too predictable.

Jab, Rushing in, 3/4 punch combo, over and over again, his timing is off, he doesnt even wait to counter these guys, he just throws when he likes, he just fights like they arent there, he doesnt respond well enough to his opponent, he need to work out the difference between when its time to counter, and when its time to defend.

I been saying it for years with this guy, good fighter, but serious defensive problems, personally i doubt he will improve enough, his ego is massive, i remember when he said he could take mayweather over 4 rounds, too many yes men talking smack to him. Maybe he will learn his lesson, im not so sure.

              Wait and see.

                Heart, Stamina, Power, Speed

His chin still is'nt tested IMO, i think he needs some time he has only had 13 pro fights, if they rush him it will be another vargas... i say 20-0 and then he can go for a world title (7 fights which would happen in about 18 months probably).

Still though Limond is a decent fighter, and Amir fought him in his 13th pro fight.
His chin was tested by a fighter who does not hit harder than the wife, as I said over rated, no chin and he knows it so does why does he hang it out? Limond is just a domestic fighter with no punch what so ever yet had Khan all over the shop, cant wait for him to go away cause ITV need some class not a dreamer.

Your probably right. It was a big step up for Khan fighting Limond in only his 13th fight.

i think ppl are making to much of this and putting to much pressure on kahn but im not at all suprised as soon as a british sports man shows the slightist bit of promis hes tiped to be great and the truth is the weight of expectation plays on these ppl and at such a young age hinders there progress and im not just talking about boxing it happens in every kind of sport and it needs to stop

Making too much of a so called future world champ nearly being knockout by some glorified journeyman dude with zero power?

                      Surely not.
