If Roy looks impressive tonight? Is he Back

Lets say Roy dominates Hanshaw ,and shows a lot of the speed that made him Pound for Pound 1# when he was in his prime.

Im talking knockout within 6 rounds and flat out dominates

Would that mean Roy is all the way back and would be a serious threat to Hopkins ,Winky Wright ,Calzaghe

Muhammad Ali came back to beat Leon Spinks. It didnt make him any younger or any sharper.

Actually Roy will need to make his way back up the ranks to no. 1 challenger before he can get a real title shot. Kessler and Joe C. probably wouldn't want to fight him because Jones is still dangerous, yet if they beat him it looks like they just beat up on a guy past his prime.
Kessler has already stated that he doesn't want to fight Roy. Roy being one of his idols and all. So I think Roy would have to force their hand and become the mandatory challenger.

Roy will never be back. Can he win a big fight or two? maybe, but he's 38 and he'll only get older. He hasn't been physically peak since Richard Hall and that was almost 7 years ago.

I hear the heavyweight division calling Roy's name. He can beat plenty of those guys if he still has it and doesn't fight afraid.

If this is a dominating performance resulting in a KO/TKO for Jones.. It definetly means he can still make some noise in the boxing world.. Its impossible to be as good as he once was, but an impressive performance means he is still a threat.. Cuz hanshaw aint no bum...

I hope Jones dominates his opponent. And yeah maybe heavyweight is the route he should take.

                    Crusierweight.....

He would have a better speed advantage and wouldn't have to fight men two feet taller then himself to become a champion.
Plus it would give him his 5th weight title which is still a very small group.

Anyway if he can stay in the middle of the ring and open up , I think he can go any where from there.

Roy at 60% is still better then 90% of the world`at 100% .
