16,000+ tickets were sold in first 12 hours for the Calzaghe-Kessler world super middleweight title fight which takes place November 3 at the 76,000-seat Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. That's 90% of total sold for De La Hoya-Mayweather!

holy ****. hopefully this fight is a classic, that crowd is gonna be something to remember.

To put that into perspective, it took 3 days for DE LA HOYA-MAYWEATHER to sell the same amount of tickets

They're all Welsh sports fans who didn't even know Joe Calzaghe existed until last year.

The indoor record of 35,000+ was broken in Calzaghes last fight, against Manfredo.

Calzaghe has been big amongst the teenage generation for quite some time now.
